William Korslin, President, Chief Executive Officer, and co-founder of Centrad Healthcare, LLC, has 39 years of experience in related healthcare distribution businesses. Prior to founding Centrad, he was President and CEO of American Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (“APS”), a subsidiary of Mariner Post-Acute Network, Inc., where he concurrently held the position of Mariner Executive Vice President. Under his direction as CEO, APS revenues grew from $43 million in 1994 to over $360 million in 1999, becoming the fifth largest institutional pharmacy in the country with 1,800 employees and 38 pharmacies conducting business in 36 states. Prior to becoming CEO of APS, he held a variety of Senior Management positions in APS’ predecessor organizations.
Prior to joining APS, Bill held several management positions at National Medical Enterprises, Inc. all in its Durable Medical Equipment (“DME”) division. Prior to that, he held several management positions at American Hospital Supply Corporation, a leading distributor of medical supplies and equipment to acute care hospitals (now a subsidiary of Cardinal Health Systems). He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Business, with a BS in Administrative Sciences.
Michael Korslin, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, joined Centrad in July 2004. Michael has ten years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to becoming COO and CFO, Michael was Vice President, Planning and Business Development. Michael directs Centrad’s Accounting and Finance Department, Business Development, Information Technology, Respiratory Services, and Supply Chain Management functions. Prior to joining Centrad, he held the position of Investment Executive at ML Stern, an investment and securities firm in San Diego, California.
Michael is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelors of Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, Investment & Banking. He also received his Masters of Business Administration from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Business.
Jill McKay, Sr. Vice President, Accounting and co-founder of Centrad, has more than 20 years of accounting experience in the healthcare industry. Before co-founding Centrad, Jill held a variety of accounting positions at American Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (“APS”). Jill directs Centrad’s financial planning & reporting, external audit, sales and income tax reporting, accounts payable, cash application and general accounting functions. She is a graduate of Briar Cliff College with a BA in Accounting.
Cheryl Rivera, Controller, joined the Company in July 2013. Prior to joining Centrad, Cheryl held the position of Controller at Omnicare Medical Supplies and Services. As Centrad’s Controller, Cheryl is responsible for the accounting operations of the company including the production of financial reports, management of accounting records, and ensuring the company complies with accounting principles.
Tabitha Calvert, Cash Application Supervisor, joined the Company in September 2003. Prior to joining Centrad, Tabitha held various positions in accounting, bookkeeping, and reimbursement in the healthcare industry. Tabitha is a graduate of Okaloosa Community College with an Associates Degree in Accounting.
Kim Kirkby, Director of Compliance, joined Centrad in July 2013. Previous to her joining Centrad, Kim worked for Omnicare Medial Supplies and Services as the Director of Revenue Management / Compliance and Accreditation. As the Director of Compliance, Kim is responsible for Centrad’s compliance programs, registration and licensure programs, and monitoring compliance-related activities including ACHC accreditation and audit response.
Michelle Korslin, Sr. Vice President, Sales and Marketing, joined Centrad first in 2004 as Reimbursement Manager / Durable Medical Equipment Division. Michelle has more than ten years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to rejoining Centrad in January 2011, Michelle held the position of Pharmaceutical Sales Representative at Merck & Co. for five years. While at Merck, she was recognized for several sales achievements including receiving the “Rookie of the Year” award in Midwest Region. Michelle directs all Centrad sales & marketing programs including the implementation and use of SalesForce.com, Centrad’s CRM engine. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Anthony Barrett, CPT, Vice President, Operations-Field, joined Centrad in May 2003 as a Field Service Representative and has over 15 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, and Operations in the healthcare industry. Before joining Centrad, Anthony held a variety of sales and management positions at American Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (“APS”). Since joining Centrad, Tony has held a variety of positions in operations including Field Service Manager where he directed the development of Centrad’s Southwest Region. As Vice President, Field Operations, Tony is responsible for developing and controlling Centrad’s customer relationships and planning and controlling all aspects of Centrad’s field operations, including managing Centrad’s five Region Managers.
Sinchan Lad, Sr. Vice President, Continuous Improvement, joined the company in January 2013. Sinchan is responsible for implementing, training, and deploying LEAN and Continuous Improvement initiatives throughout the organization. He has his Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Mumbai, his Master of Science from the Ohio State University, with a concentration in Industrial and Systems Engineering, and his Master of Business Administration, Marketing, Strategy and Entrepreneurship from Kellogg School of Management.
Craig Wheatley, Vice President of Information Technology, joined the company in June 2009. Craig directs all of Centrad’s network administration, IT governance, and project functions. He has ten years of systems and network administration experience (WAN / LAN). Before joining Centrad, Craig was an outsourced contractor providing the company with Network Administration Support. Craig has a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management, with a concentration in Business Information Systems, from DeVry University.
Joe McCarthy, Vice President, Purchasing & Logistics and co-founder of Centrad, has over 30 years of experience in production management, purchasing and logistics. Before co-founding Centrad, Joe was Vice President, Purchasing at American Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (“APS”). Prior to that, he held several inventory-control, purchasing, and production management positions at Nissan Forklift Corporation. As Vice President, Purchasing, he manages all Centrad vendor relationships including negotiating all supply contracts. Joe has a BA in Psychology from Loras College.
Eric Korslin, Staff Operations Director, joined Centrad in January 2008 as Staff Operations Manager. Prior to joining Centrad on a full-time basis, Eric held a variety of part-time positions at Centrad beginning in 2003, while working on his undergraduate degree. As Staff Operations Director, Eric directs all of Centrad’s marketing communications development including website, collateral marketing material, branding, and advertising programs. He also directs Centrad’s inventory and physical inventory management processes in Centrad Distribution Centers and maintains inventory replenishment functions at all Centrad distribution centers. Eric possesses his Masters in Business Administration from DePaul University as well as his BS degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Kate Howard, Reimbursement Manager, joined the company in July 2013. Prior to joing Centrad, Kate worked for Omnicare Medical Supplies and Services as the Accounts Receivable Manager. Kate is responsible for the improvement of back-end 3rd party cash collections and non-confirming claims as well as reducing front-end 3rd party non-conforming claims. She has her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colgate, with a concentration in Psychology.
Eric Hermonson, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Director of Human Resources, joined the company in March 2009. Before joining Centrad, he was Human Resources Manager for a community Park District. Eric has been working in the field of Human Resources since 2003. He has a Bachelor of Science, with a concentration in Human Resources, from Northern Illinois University. He also holds a certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
