Our clinical support specialists include leading experts in the industry who will work with your facility to develop and implement treatment protocols, formulary management and order replenishment programs, staff education & training programs (provided on site or via webinars for your convenience), and risk assessment and control programs.

Account Representative

site-iStock_000033426656SmallOur Account Representatives (AR) visit customer facilities routinely to gather claims documentation, coordinate in-service and education programs, record wound progress for each wound care site, monitor and manage inventory, and order replenishment programs. The AR will track and report all aspects of the program on a monthly basis, ensuring that your facility’s clinical and financial outcome expectations are being met by Centrad. All Account Representatives are thoroughly trained on all aspects of Centrad’s Wound Management Program.

Customer Service Support

Smiling customer serviceEach Account Representative is teamed with a Customer Service Representative (CSR) who is dedicated to support your facility. Like the Account Representatives, all Customer Service Representatives are thoroughly trained on reimbursement, clinical support, and product knowledge. CSRs are office-based and, as such, are always available to support your facility. We are available 24/7, 365 days per year.


Qualifying Document Set (QDS) Based on CMS Guidelines

This one of a kind guideline to all aspects of wound management in post-acute care, including claims documentation, reimbursement and wound care product utilization parameters, is a resource that assures both compliance and cost avoidance.

Our clinical and reimbursement experts use this desk reference to support staff education and training programs, and Centrad Account Representatives use the QDS manual to guide their day-to-day activities in support of your wound care program.

Wound Care Products



Centrad has contracts with all major manufacturers of Wound Care Products. We stay tuned in to and are continuously researching manufacturer product development activities to make sure we are aware of such development, and that we bring new ideas and evaluations of the latest products to you.

Notably, Centrad provides a full-range of secondary dressings, including bordered gauze. Foam dressings are provided following CMS utilization parameters of full-thickness, moderate drainage every 3 days. Centrad also provides the convenience of silver collagen dressings.

Pat Affe, RN, BSN, WCC, CWS

Clinical Support Specialist, Wound Care

Pat first joined Centrad in 2003 as Director Wound Management and then rejoined the company September 2012. Prior to joining Centrad in 2012, she was Clinical Specialist, Wound Care at American Medical Technologies (AMT) for six years. Before joining AMT, she was District Manager, Wound Care at Abbott Nutrition. Prior to that, she held several Sales Project Manager and other positions at Smith and Nephew. Before Smith and Nephew, she was the National Long Term Care Account Manager at Knoll Pharmaceutical.

Pat has over 27 years of experience in wound care reimbursement, product development and product application, pharmaceutical and medical device sales. She is a Wound Care Certified Nurse from NAWC and a Certified Wound Care Specialist from AAWM.

She is a retired Colonel in the Army Nurse Corp and holds a Bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Pittsburgh.

Christi Lada, RN, BSN, WCC

Clinical Support Specialist, Wound Care

Christi joined the company in May 2007 as an Account Representative. She has concurrently held the position of Clinical Support Specialist, Wound Care since then. Before joining Centrad, Christi was a Territory Manager for a Home Health Agency in New York. She has over 14 years of experience in healthcare including nursing, medical billing & reimbursement, and Wound Care Management.

Christi is Wound Care Certified from NAWC. Christi holds a Bachelors of Science Nursing from the University of Delaware.
